The first PROLONG prototype is now being tested. The client and server-side code have been developed by the partner WITA based on the algorithm developed by La Sapienza University of Rome. Real-time processing is fully functioning even on a device of very limited processing power, as the Raspberry Zero platform, which had been selected for the prototype. The platform has been developed to allow flexible computing architecture where different components are bond together by a message broker based on MQTT protocol. Access to the platform, which leverages WITA’s backend server infrastructure, is secured to ensure data protection.
